Recent Firmware & Driver Upgrades of Magewell Video Capture Products
Magewell have some upgrades regarding firmware and driver that we'd like to share with you here. Please see the details as follows.
- Add A/V sync setting to address the synchronization issue between audio ingested via the 3.5 jack and the video signal.
- Add support for Eco Capture QL-SDI 4K M.2.
- Add support for Eco Capture SDI 4K Plus M.2.
- Fix the signal compatibility with SDI output by BlackMagic video matrix products.
Tip:
Users must upgrade the firmware through USB Capture Utility. When Internet access is available, Utility automatically checks the firmware version of the capture device and the latest version on the Magewell server. When a newer version is available, Utility will remind users of the upgrade. Users can check the release notes and decide whether they need to upgrade the firmware or not depending on their needs.
Availability:
Ultra Stream firmware V1.4.34 and the Windows driver of Eco Capture V1.3.0.4210 have already been available on Magewell website, users can download them at the product page and Support page.
