Significant reduction in focus shift between the visible light and the SWIR bands
The focus shift that occurs when switching from visible light (400nm) to the SWIR band (1,700nm) has been effectively reduced across the entire spectrum.
The new
industrial lenses offer an optimal optical component for machine vision cameras in use from the visible light band to cameras that work in the SWIR band. This makes the lenses ideal for
industrial cameras that support both light bands.

Tamron's new proprietary lens coating technology ensures approximately 80% constant spectrum transmission across the entire spectrum from visible light to the SWIR* band. *Band corresponding to the wavelength of 400 – 1700 nm

Improved imaging performance at close range
The image contrast was significantly increased at the usual close-up distances (20cm MOD).
Tamron's new
