Magewell Eco Capture HDMI 4K M.2 FPC

Magewell's Eco Capture family of Eco Capture HDMI 4K M.2 FPCs features a high-speed PCIe 2.0 bus interface with an M.2 connector for single channel 4K (Ultra HD) recording. The Eco Capture HDMI 4K M.2 captures video up to 4096 × 2160 at 30 frames per second via HDMI. He also supports the recording of embedded audio signals.

The Magewell Eco Capture models each measure 22x80mm, matching the M.2 2280 standard specification. The energy consumption of the Eco Capture cards is 30% to 70% lower (depending on the model) than comparable Magewell Pro Capture card models with similar input signal connectivity.

Stream replication allows each input channel to be delivered to multiple software applications simultaneously with identical capture parameters, allowing concurrent functionality such as encoding, recording, and previewing through a variety of tools. High quality video editing capabilities, including up / down / cross scaling, image control, and color space conversion, are performed by the cards' onboard FPGA, which reduces CPU utilization while providing additional processes such as frame rate conversion and de-interlacing.

The M.2 Eco Capture models are available with drivers for Windows and Linux operating systems. OS-native Capture APIs such as DirectShow, DirectKS, V4L2, and ALSA are supported, while a full developer-friendly SDK is provided to directly access the maps' full feature set.
