Pricing Increase

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the global supply chain has been under tremendous pressure, including shortages of raw materials, extended lead times and rising procurement costs. Unfortunately it is getting even worse moving into 2022. Take Xilinx for example, they have notified all of their customers including Magewell about price increases for their chip solutions starting the fourth quarter of 2021. We’re forced to make this difficult decision to increase our customers pricing starting from March 1st, 2022. Moving forward, the pricelist will be updated at a quarterly basis unless a major change occurs with our supply chain that forces us to do it with a shorter interval. The previous pricing will be valid and applied to orders that could be fulfilled before March 1st, otherwise the new pricing will be applied. Please check with your Magewell distributor in your areas for the latest price list and when your orders could be fulfilled.

SKU Adjustment

We’ll update the SKUs of the six variants of two models as below now. This change will ensure the SKUs stay in line with the same rules and make it easier for Magewell’s updated ERP system. They will also be applied on our website, the pricelist and packaging label accordingly.
