The Imaging Source is expanding its industrial camera portfolio with the cost-optimized 2.3 MP CMOS Digital Imaging Sensor AR0234 from onsemi. Originally part of our Embedded Vision portfolio, these monochrome and color sensors are now offered in The Imaging Source's 33 Series USB and GigE camera families.
The industrial cameras of the 33 series with the high-performance 2.3 MP image sensor AR0234 are currently available in development samples and are suitable for a wide range of applications such as computer vision, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and inspection. The AR0234 captures 1080p video and still images at up to 100 frames per second (fps). This global shutter sensor offers high frame rates and reduced motion blur, delivering sharp HDR images with enhanced detail.
