The Imaging Source expands the embedded camera portfolio
The Imaging Source is expanding its embedded camera portfolio with the 2 MP CMOS image sensor AR0234 from ON Semi. The respective monochrome and color sensors are now available in the MIPI CSI-2 sensor modules, the MIPI CSI-2 and FPD-Link III board cameras as well as in the IP67-certified FPD-Link III industrial cameras from The Imaging Source.
Based on a new global shutter pixel design, the AR0234 offers a high dynamic range, which is necessary for capturing precise images in fluctuating lighting conditions, and also enables precise imaging of moving scenes. In combination with good industrial lenses, the sensors deliver clear, low-noise images and a true 1080p resolution, making them the perfect choice for a wide range of applications such as barcode reading, autonomous mobility, security and industrial quality control.
