Precise, high-resolution imaging: industrial cameras with Pregius S sensors

The industrial camera family of the 38 series from The Imaging Source (GigE and USB) are equipped with Sony's 4th generation Pregius S sensors and deliver high-resolution, distortion-free images at an excellent price-performance ratio.

The Pregius S sensors have a smaller pixel pitch of 2.74 µm (higher pixel density), which allows for high-resolution sensors on smaller chips. For the first time, Sony has equipped its global shutter sensors with its Back Illuminated Structure technology, which allows for a wider angle of incidence and improves sensitivity and saturation performance.
