The Imaging Source announced the Addition of onsemi AR0521 to 33 Series camera family
The Imaging Source is pleased to announce the expansion of our 33 Series industrial camera family with the addition of onsemi AR0521 image sensors. Cameras featuring AR0521 will be available with either a USB 3.0 or GigE interface.
As the next generation of onsemi’s P006 / P031 sensors, AR0521 sensors display the following characteristics:
- Resolution: 5 MP, 2,592px × 1,944px
- Sensor Format: 1/2.5 inch
- Pixel Format: H: 2.2 µm, V: 2.2 µm

While the monochrome cameras featuring this sensor are now production-ready, the color cameras are currently only available as design-in samples with very limited availability. Mass production for the color cameras is scheduled for Q1 2022.
