Magewell is Updating Firmware of Ultra Encode Devices

Magewell is updating firmware of Ultra Encode universal live media encoders to V1.3.496. By using this firmware, customers shall be able to access more new functions. Please see the details as follows.

Whats new:

1. Add the parameters Code type (H264/HEVC) and Bitrate Encoding (CBR/VBR) for the sub stream, which is flexible for the requirements of different scenarios and platforms. (CBR is a fixed bitrate that does not vary with the scene complexity and complexity of the video. VBR uses an average bitrate that varies with the complexity of the video to provide better quality in more difficult scenes.)
2. Add the de-interlacing function in the encoding parameters. When this function is disabled, an interlaced signal can only be encoded using HEVC. (Users of broadcast production don’t need to do any processing on the signal format during the signal transmission process, such as the commonly used 1080i50.)
3. Fix issue: H264/HEVC SEI ending information is not written in compliance with the relevant standard.
