Intruduced Comput a r ViSWIR Lite Serie

The ViSWIR-Lite industrial lens series from Computar with fixed focal length was developed for the latest industrial cameras with Visible + SWIR imaging sensors. Computar's ViSWIR Lite achieves a clear and precise image that is visible for the SWIR range and also suitable for the visible light spectrum. In which a multi-layer coating is applied to absorb the specific light. Applying a multilayer coating to the metallic lens parts makes it possible to minimize the negative light effects. Compared to the HYPER APO series from Computar, the Lite series has a focus shift under changing light spectra, so that manual refocusing is required.

The machine vision lens series is the winner of Vision System Innovators Gold Awards 2021
„ The Vision Systems Design Team would like to congratulate Computar on its score in the Innovators Awards program 2021," said Chris Mc Loone, Editor-in-Chief." Each year, this unbiased and increasingly competitive program aums to celebrate the most innovative products and systems in machine vision. The Computar Optics Group team can be very proud of this."

Computar's ultra-high-resolution MPT industrial lens series consists of 5 machine vision lenses with focal lengths of 12 / 16 / 25 / 35 and 50mm. The lenses are suitable for sensors up to 1.4" (1.2", 4/3") and have a resolution of 45 megapixels with a pixel pitch of 2.3µm. The lenses are specially designed for the Sony image sensors IMX530 / IMX540 / IMX492, but they inspire also with all large-format sensors with razor-sharp resolution and low distortion in the edge area. The C-mount lenses , with an aperture of Ø F2.64, are not outstandingly bright, but impress with their low distortion and compact design.Due to the floating design , working distances of only 0.15m (0.25m with the 50mm lens) are possible.

Key Features

Dedicated optical design for the latest high-megapixel 1.4-1.2 type sensor

Computar has released lenses for the new image formats from 1.4 inches to 1.2 inches (including 4/3 inches) which, in addition to the well-known 1.1-inch and 1-inch lens series, are geared to market requirements. The optical construction is optimized for fine pixel sizes like 2.3um and 2.74um and also achieves the best performance like anti-shading and lower distortion at the highest resolution.

Floating design realizing powerful image quality from close-up to infinity

Get high performance not only at close range but also at infinity in the diversified machine vision market. It can be applied to new fields such as industrial drones and sports analysis, and long-range surveillance systems combined with ultra-high pixel sensors.

High optical performance from the center to the corner edge through high-dimensional aberration correction and lens alignment / adjustment technology

Put the ultra-high refractive index glass and the low-dispersion glass in a balanced optical design. This achieves high optical performance across the entire screen, complementing the multi-ROI capability and expanding the possibilities of diagnostic imaging.

C-mount lens optimized for large sensor formats of type 1.4

By using C-mount, which offers the most versatility for general industrial use, it becomes possible to increase the number of pixels without using a large-diameter mount like F -Mount to use. It is very versatile while contributing to the miniaturization of the device and system.

Die Neuerung befasst sich mit der Optimierung des Designs der MPY-Serie. Dies betrifft die Modelle V0828MPY, V1228MPY und V1628MPY. Computar Optimizes the Design of its Machine Vision MPY Lens Series
(V0828-MPY, V1228-MPY, V1628-MPY)

The new feature deals with the optimization of the design of the MPY series by Computar. This concerns the models V0828-MPY , V1228-MPY and V1628-MPY . A piece of metal near the lens mount has been trimmed 0.4 ~ 0.6mm to improve mechanical compatibility with certain high-resolution cameras .
All optical properties of the MPY series remain unchanged. The new models are named V0828-MPY2 , V1228-MPY2 and V1628-MPY2 .

Attention important notice : Due to the design changes, the end lens of the lens looks over. If handled improperly, the obejtkiv can be damaged. In order to avoid or exclude the impact with the lens, the lenses are supplied with a protection cover. This is attached to the edge of the lens at the end of the C-mount connector.
